First off – I’ve been receiving a lot of emails and messages asking if I’m feeling better and hoping I’m recovering quickly. As far as the surgery goes – I am feeling better, and I am recovering fairly quickly. The incision is healing well and the swelling is down to a minimum. As far as the cancer goes – I still have a ways to go with that. As you can see by the update videos I’ve been posting – the tumor is still affecting my left side, and my speech is still a little slurred. And I still have headaches pretty much constantly. I don’t expect to see a real change in that until my radiation and chemo starts having an affect on the tumor. That will start in the next few days. But I’ve been going for long walks and working at strengthening my body every day, and that feels great! Yesterday I had my Aquaplast Mask made. If you’ve never heard of this before, neither had I. It’s a molded mask that they use to target the radiation. I get to wear it for my CT scans and radiation treatments, so that my head is in the exact same spot all of the time. The important thing when making the mask is for me to remain as still as possible. The better I do at that – the more effective my treatment. Through this whole thing – every time I’ve been asked to remain as still as possible, I’ve focused on my modeling – and all of those years of being asked to hold uncomfortable poses in ridiculous conditions, just to get the perfect shot. The perfect shot is more important now than ever. So I did my job. This video is a look at the making of my mask. Sorry it’s only a head mold. I think a full body mold would have made for an excellent video and photo shoot.

I've been modeling for over 16 years and singing most of my life - And even acted in a few movies. My husband and I were at a point in our life where we were making changes and plans for what we were going to do next. Then on August 20, 2018 I woke up with a headache. The story starts a couple of days later when the headache wouldn't go away. Some of the posts were written by my husband Steve, when I was not able to. But this is his story too!
